Master Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
To control, audit and validate the integrity of master data across multiple systems and modules, ensuring compliance with approved master data processes and rules.
To review, enhance and continuously improve master data processes, controls and governance standards as required.
To administer, maintain and develop master data across the Company’s systems to ensure information is accurate, consistent and up to date, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
To consolidate and manage material take-on requests, master data amendments and audit trail extracts across multiple systems and modules.
To perform independent verification of new and existing master data records and all related amendments prior to activation or use.
To support accurate and timely reporting by ensuring correct master data structures and adherence to reporting deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
B. Comm / BSc or other IT related diploma/degree.
Minimum of 3-4 years' relevant experience is required.
Exposure to SAP Business One (item/vendor/customer masters), Sage HR/Payroll structures (paypoints, projects), and Excel/Power BI or a similar integrated systems environment.
Strong Excel and basic SQL is advantageous.
Experience of business processes and disciplines with a combination of at least 2 to 3 divisions and/or functions such as financial/management accounting, inventory and materials management, quality control, product costing, data analysis and reporting etc.
